Architectural Drawing - Reflection

I found this workshop very helpful to my studies, especially the sideshows shown in class. Aside from the drawing equipments, the 'types of architectural drawings' slide is also very effective. I get the idea that architectural drawing does not have to be 'correct' as long as it reaches a certain qualities that gives a certain feeling.

Architectural Drawing - Final Submission

Main emphasis for the drawing is the scenery. I tried to show the relation of the building to the surrounding scenery. In addition to that, I tried to relate the contour of the mountain to the contour of the site to join the two sets of drawings.

Material Modeling - Reflection

Personally I think this workshop gives more freedom than the other workshops, because there are huge amount of variation that can be done to the model, I can do almost anything with it.
If I am to redo this submission, I would look for a more evocative materials, I am not quite satisfied with the material I've chosen in the model.

Material Modeling - Final Submission

The final submission in the material modeling workshop. In this model, I am trying to show the sense of danger to the building. The house is cut in half and then partly elevated, so that people standing near the edge of the split would feel dangerous. Moreover, sense of danger is strengthen by the pool of lava shown by the color red.

Material Modeling - Before Transformation

(a bit late in taking the photos, roof a bit destroyed & house splitted)
